RRWC and 18 project partners holistically examinined the condition of the Rogue River Basin by assessing key characteristics of environmental and societal challenges throughout the Basin. Report cards like this are an engaging, tangible, image-rich communication product that is easily accessible to a wide variety of audiences. The report card product is a synthesis of rigorous scientific data from various sources paired with a distillation of key messages of watershed and community health and condition. In the report card, key aspects of rivers and creeks, terrestrial landscapes that surround those streams (watersheds), and the communities within those watersheds are given a grade of A-F depending on their condition. The report card highlights the threats to our region, and spotlights conservation, restoration, and management actions needed to address the threats.
